Cage Warriors 103: Card Preview

A sold out K.B Hallen in Copenhagen will play host this Saturday as promotion Cage Warriors return to Denmark for only the second time in its history. Featuring on the card will be some of the hottest talent Scandinavia and the rest of Europe have to offer, including two Interim Titles in the Featherweight and Welterweight divisions up for grabs (I wonder where they got that idea from).

Headlining, the Copenhagen native Nicholas Dalby looks to make it three wins in a row against rising English Welterweight Alex Lohore, whom is riding a three fight win streak himself. Dalby is a tough well rounded opponent, he has never been finished in his professional career going the distance three times. He has also accumulated five KO/TKO wins and four Submission victories proving he can get the job done either stood up or on the ground. Dangerously well rounded himself however, Lohore who boasts nine KO/TKO victories and five Submission victories will be extremely confident he can snatch the title from the hometown favourite. A guaranteed tactical thriller, definitely expect this one to finish before the final bell.

History could repeat itself as former Lightweight champion Soren Bak will face Morgan Charriere for the Interim Featherweight Title. Bak is coming off an impressive victory over Paddy Pimblett and is now looking to set himself up too repeat the historical feat only held by Conor Mcgregor, Cage Warriors double champion. Frenchman Charriere however will be looking to spoil the party as the knockout artist has his eyes set on taking the title. Lets not forget however, Featherweight Champion Dean Trueman will be watching with eagle eyes as he pieces together the first piece of the puzzle for his next opponent.

2016 Rio Silver Olympic medalist and five time world champion Mark O. Madsen makes the jump from Cage Warriors Academy to the big show, as he faces off against fellow Welterweight Thibaud Larchet and to complete the main card, submission specalist Mads Burnell returns in a Featherweight clash against Ahmed Vila.

Cage Warriors is an outstanding promotion who truly make young, hungry prospects into world class athletes. Its a very rare sight you get less than a 10/10 product from Cage Warriors so I would highly recommend watching the event, especially if you live in Europe as it means we can go to bed at normal time.
