Jon “Bones” Jones (22-1-0 1NC) is finally back where he shines the most. Headlining a massive UFC pay-per-view card set for the end of this year.
Similar to his supplements, Jones’ return is tainted amongst the MMA community. Due to a failed drug test dating back to June of 2017, he was suspended for 15 months by USADA.
Jones had already been suspended prior to UFC 200 for an oestrogen blocker. Which he blamed on an off brand Cialis that was taken out of competition. Jones received a 12 month suspension from USADA .
The steroid found in his system was Turinabol, an old school steroid that takes month to clear off of your system. The amount of it they found in Jones’s system was, according to him : “Like a pinch of salt in a olympic size swimming pool.”
Jones is set to make his return to the UFC to face former opponent Alexander Gustafsson (18-4-0) at UFC 232 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile arena.
All eyes are going to be on those two as they rematch after one of the best UFC fights of all time which took place back in September 2013.
