Russian Bantamweight Petr Yan (12-1), has called out top contender Pedro Munhoz on Twitter in a bid to get a match made.

This call out comes following the TJ Dillashaw USADA controversy, which sees the Bantamweight title thrown into uncertainty. It was expected that Munhoz would compete for the vacant title, however that appears to not be the case, as Dana White spoke following UFC Nashville confirming Cejudo vs Moraes would be for the vacant belt.
Yan, who most recently holds a decision win over John Dodson, has said he would prefer to fight Munhoz over Garbrandt, as he believes Garbrandt is ‘Punched through’, a Russian term for someone that has taken too many shots, thus making their chin weak.
We’re not sure where the UFC is heading with all these potential fights at Bantamweight, but it is certainly exciting, with many great match ups on the horizon in what is by far the busiest division in the UFC currently.
