Aaron Pico suffers another KO loss at Bellator 222

Aaron Pico was always seen as one of Bellator’s top prospects. He was running through competition up until January where he suffered a brutal KO loss on the main card of Fedor VS Bader. He dropped his opponent, Henry Corrales, and got drawn into a wild slugfest before being clipped with a beautiful right hand, leading him to being starched on the canvas.

Unfortunately for the blue chip prospect it was more of the same this Friday night at Bellator 222. As Aaron Pico was finished by brutal flying knee at the hands of the ever dangerous Adam Borics.

At Bellator 222, Pico looked to use his wrestling advanatge. He landed a big slam in round 1 but in round 2 he telegraphed his shot too much. This led to Adam Borics landing a clean flying knee, causing Pico to drop. He followed up with some ground and pound to finish the fight. This marks Pico’s second consecutive loss.

Do you think Pico’s career is over? Can he bounce back from these defeats? Leave your thoughts below!
