Cub Swanson vs Kron Gracie slated for Oct. 12

In the world of MMA, prospects come and go. Until they are truly tested by top competition, their full potential is uncertain. We will get to see if Kron Gracie’s hype-train goes downhill on October 12th, when he takes on veteran Cub Swanson.

Kron Gracie, a member of the legendary Gracie family, made his debut on a big stage. He fought one of the UFC’s most flamboyant strikers, Alex ‘Bruce Leeroy‘ Caceres. To add to the mounting pressure, Gracie’s debut was the on the UFC’s debut event with ESPN. Gracie used his world-class grappling to submit Caceres within the round.

Swanson is currently on a 4-fight losing-skid, most recently dropping a fight to Shane Burgos at UFC Ottawa. ‘Killer Cub‘ has fought the likes of Frankie Edgar, Dustin Poirier, Jeremy Stephens, Jose Aldo & Chad Mendes.
