Patricky Freire finishes Tatsuya Kawajiri with brutal flying knee and punches

Bellator’s Patricky ”Pitbull” Freire made his RIZIN debut with a bang this weekend. Debuting at RIZIN 19 in the Lightweight Grand Prix, Freire faced Japanese veteran Tatsuya Kawajiri and the bout was over in phenomenal style within the first round.

Patricky Freire, as you can see in the GIF above, landed a brutal flying knee to the temple of Tatsuya Kawajiri, sending him crashing to the canvas. Freire followed up the flying knee with some brutal ground and pound, ending the fight in the first round.

With this victory, Freire pushes his current winning streak to six and advances to the semi finals against Luiz Gustavo. In the opposite bracket, Johnny Case will face Tofiq Musaev. Both semi finals will take place on December 29th and the finals will be contested two days later on the 31st, both will take place at the Saitama Super Arena.
